We’re not throwing out the old institutions; we are claiming them as our own. Shana and Jessica’s wedding was pure in a way very few weddings are. It was only about them and how much they love each other and how much everyone present loved them together. All of those other nuts-and-bolts aspect of marriage were taken care of elsewhere. It was just them, glitter and music and love.

Speaking of marriages: Popnography wants to send a huge congratulations to our former fearless leader, Shana Naomi Krochmal, who married her wife, Jessica Maxwell, on Saturday in Los Angeles. From what we’ve heard, the party following the ceremony was such an unbridled rager, the cops had to be called. Well played. We love you guys!
